My Perspective On Her Battle
I found Malala Yousafzai to be a really inspirational
person. Her fight for global peace, and for education is very bold. Not even I
would do that. Anyway, I recently read that girls in Pakistan, where Malala is
from, cannot go to school. This is because either: the fee is too costly to send
the daughter AND her brother (the son would be favored over the daughter) or
girls are discriminated against because of gender and people’s beliefs.

Don’t you believe that this is wrong? Everyone deserves an
education, whether girl or boy or short or tall. But even in America, women
weren’t allowed to vote. When there were Native Americans, the girls would stay
and clean, cook, and do other house related chores. The men got an education
while the girls didn’t. So unfair.
In today’s economy, women are taking the lead. Their ideas
are not invalid. For example, Malala is taking the lead in promoting education.
Michelle Obama is taking the lead and preventing obesity. There are so many
women out there that are taking the lead and showing that the world can be
fixed.
Education will get us there. This form of slavery is spread around the world and we need to stop it dead in its tracks. To do this, we need to teach children to think and
have ideas that will lead to great inventions or plans to make the world a much
better place. Think about it, if you teach a child to dream, then they make ideas
and that child may have an idea that can change the world. How simple but
amazing is that?
